A Note on Mental Health

Your well-being matters deeply to us.

Inner Studio was created to offer support, grounding, and care for dancers, but it is not a replacement for professional mental health support. We are not licensed medical or mental health professionals, and the practices offered here are not intended to diagnose, treat, or replace therapy or medical care.

If you are currently navigating significant mental health challenges, we encourage you to use this work alongside the guidance of a licensed therapist, counselor, doctor, or other qualified healthcare provider. If you have a pre-existing mental health condition, please consider seeking professional support before beginning or continuing this work.

Meditation and visualization can sometimes bring up strong emotions, memories, or physical sensations. This is a natural part of inner work for some people, but it's important to move at your own pace and to pause if something feels overwhelming. You are always allowed to step away and seek additional support.

If you are experiencing distress that feels urgent or unsafe, please seek immediate help. In the United States, you can call or text 988 to reach the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, call 911, or go to the nearest emergency room. If you are outside the U.S., please contact your local emergency services or a trusted crisis resource in your country.

If your concerns feel less urgent but still heavy, reaching out to a primary care provider, therapist, school counselor, or mental health professional can be an important step. If you are a student, your school or training program may also have support services available to you.

The Inner Studio is meant to be a gentle companion. A place to return to for grounding and reflection, not something you have to push through. Please take care of yourself in whatever ways you need, and know that seeking support is a sign of strength, not failure.

With care,

The Inner Studio Team
